Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Sverd Industries is the name used for this personal website. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of sverd.net. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy describes information processed when you visit sverd.net. The site does not require visitor accounts, accept orders, run an email newsletter, or sell personal information. If you email us directly, the information in that message is handled so we can respond to you.
Analytics and audience insights
With your explicit permission, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit, how they reached the site, broad device and browser information, approximate location, and engagement with the site. Google may receive technical information such as the page URL and IP address when analytics is enabled. Google explains its processing of information from sites that use its services in its partner-site information.
The analytics setup uses Google Signals only for aggregate audience reporting, such as age range, gender, and interests when Google makes that data available. Those reports can be incomplete or withheld at low volume. The site does not use Google Ads, remarketing, or ad personalization.
Analytics does not load until you choose “Accept analytics”. You can decline analytics or turn it off later through the “Analytics settings” control in the site footer. Turning it off prevents future analytics activity from this site and removes known Google Analytics cookies from the browser where possible.
Cookies and local storage
When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such
as _ga to distinguish visits and measure engagement. The site also stores a
small local preference recording whether you accepted or declined analytics;
this prevents the consent prompt from appearing on every page load. No
analytics cookie or Google Analytics request is made before consent.
Why information is used
We use consented analytics information to understand the site’s audience, identify useful or broken content, and improve presentation and performance. We do not use it to make decisions about individual visitors.
Retention and sharing
The Google Analytics property is configured with a 14-month event-data retention period. Google processes analytics information under its own Privacy Policy and may process it in countries other than yours. We do not sell analytics data or disclose it to other independent third parties for their own marketing.
Our hosting, security, and analytics providers may process limited technical request data to deliver and protect the site. Embedded third-party content is loaded only when you choose to interact with it; that provider’s privacy policy then applies to that interaction.
Your choices and requests
You can withdraw analytics permission at any time using the footer control. You may also use browser privacy controls or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request information about, access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond as appropriate to the request and applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site’s data practices change. A material change to analytics consent will cause the site to request your choice again.
